The Neon Carnival is an exclusive, invite-only Coachella after party.

This was the first year that Topo Chico featured a sponsor booth at the carnival. Hundreds of celebrities and influencers played until the sun came up.

The project consisted of building an interactive installation using a 10' x 10' tent. The booth included a custom built TIC-TAC-TOPO game with life-size game pieces + light-up game board, custom built shelving for prizes which attached to the back walls + custom signage. Later that year, we were able to showcase the game again at Hypfest Carnival held in the heart of DTLA.

In 2022, Hilary was commissioned by Topo Chico Mineral Water to create ‘content creator’ space using upcycled pallets for their Vidcon sponsor booth. The pallets were painted bright yellow to match with their branding, which ended up drawing plenty attention from afar. Over the next two years, the pallets were displayed at numerous events, including the Neon Carnival, Hypfest DTLA, LA Swim Week and more.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

When your creative forces pull you in a certain direction, just trust those natural instincts.

I have always been a huge fan of graphics and lettering since I could pick up a pencil. Naturally, I am attracted to logos and packaging design. The Topo Chico Mineral Water logo always caught my eye, aside from being a delicious beverage. In 2020, when the 125th Year Anniversary bottle designs dropped, I could not control my creative forces. What else to do than create Topo Chico Mineral Water inspired works?

This spur-of-the moment inspiration to create brand-related works lead me to future opportunities to build a working relationship with the brand. I have continued to work with them throughout the last few years as a brand ambassador and exhibited my work during Miami Art Week, sponsored by Topo Chico.
